The Bridegroom: The Feast and the Absence — Fasting as a Waiting of Love
While the Bridegroom was present, there was a feast. But when He was taken away, the fast of holy longing was born.
Fasting, from Jesus' perspective, is a sign of yearning and a search for intimacy. In this series, we move away from the ritualism of bargaining and into the sweetness of the Presence. It is an invitation to discover a sustenance the body does not know.

While the Bridegroom was present, there was a feast. But when He was taken away, the fast of holy longing was born.

True fasting is not solitude; it is gathering. The Holy Spirit leads us to the table where man meets the Father and the Son.
